The best dropshipping suppliers for Shopify depend on where you want products to ship from and what you sell. For US and EU suppliers, Spocket, Syncee and Zendrop focus on faster regional shipping. For AliExpress products, DSers connects the catalog to your store. AutoDS and Modalyst aggregate many suppliers. Printful and Printify handle print-on-demand. And Shopify Collective lets Shopify stores sell each other’s products, free. All nine have Shopify App Store listings.
Prices below come from each company’s pricing page or Shopify App Store listing, checked October 6, 2026. I’ll give my pick by situation after the table.

About CJdropshipping: it has a free-to-install Shopify app, but we couldn’t verify its warehouse claims on its own site, so it’s not in the table.
US-based dropshipping suppliers
If US shipping speed is your priority, the US-leaning options above are Spocket, Syncee, Zendrop, and Shopify Collective for US-based stores. None of the suppliers’ official pages we checked promised specific shipping times, so test them: order samples to your own address from the suppliers you plan to use, and time them.
In my view, “US supplier” on a filter isn’t enough. Check where each individual product ships from, because catalogs mix regions.
Shopify Collective: the underused option
Shopify Collective lets Shopify stores connect and sell each other’s products inside Shopify, free for stores that meet the requirements. Key conditions from Shopify’s help center:
- your store must be on an active plan;
- you and the supplier must be in the same country, using the same currency;
- Shopify Payments must be set up with active payouts.
It’s available in 45+ regions. Honestly, for a brand-led store, adding complementary products from real brands beats importing generic catalog items.
How to choose
| Your situation | Start with |
|---|---|
| Want US or EU shipping speed | Spocket or Syncee |
| Testing products cheaply | DSers, Syncee or Modalyst free plans |
| Selling your own designs | Printful or Printify |
| Planning to move to your own stock later | Zendrop |
| Selling on several channels | AutoDS |
| Brand store adding related brands | Shopify Collective |
When you shortlist, check three things: how fast real samples arrive, how returns work, and whether the supplier lets you use your own packaging. Shopify itself notes that dropshipping leaves fewer branding opportunities, and that orders from several suppliers may arrive at different times. Plan your store around that.
A simple supplier test before you commit
Here’s the test I’d run on any shortlist of two or three suppliers:
- Order the same product from each to your own address, at retail price, like a customer would.
- Time delivery from order to doorstep.
- Inspect packaging: branded inserts allowed? Supplier invoices included?
- Check the product against the listing photos.
- Ask support one real question and time the reply.
- Try a return on one item.
It costs a few orders. It saves a store’s reputation. When a supplier fails two of the six, I’d drop it.
Mistakes to avoid
- Listing products you’ve never seen. Order samples first. Always. In my view this is the single most skipped step.
- Ignoring margins. Shopify says typical profit margins for dropshipping from open marketplaces range between 10% and 15%; so price for it.
- Mixing too many suppliers in one order path, which splits shipments.
- Copying supplier photos and descriptions word for word, which every competitor also uses.
