eBay Inventory Management Software: 11 Tools Compared

Table of Contents

The right eBay inventory management software depends on what kind of seller you are. Resellers listing one-off items across eBay, Poshmark and Mercari need a crosslisting tool such as Vendoo or List Perfectly. Brands selling the same products on eBay, Amazon and their own site need an inventory system such as Sellbrite, Veeqo, Zoho Inventory or Linnworks, which keeps stock counts in sync and pulls orders into one place. And if you only sell on eBay, the free Seller Hub may be enough.

I’ve grouped the tools that way below, with what each costs and who it suits. Prices are the vendors’ own published figures, checked on October 4, 2026; plans change, so confirm before you buy.

First, do you need software at all?

Ask three questions:

  1. Do you sell on more than one channel? No: start with eBay Seller Hub. It is free.
  2. Do you sell one-of-a-kind items or repeat stock? One-offs: a crosslisting tool. Repeat stock with SKUs: an inventory system.
  3. How many orders a month? Under about 30, free plans cover you. Into the hundreds, pricing by order volume starts to matter.

When you oversell and cancel because the item is out of stock, eBay counts that cancellation as a transaction defect, and its seller standards cap defects at 2% of transactions. That, more than convenience, is why I’d add syncing software as soon as you sell the same stock in two places.

The built-in option

eBay Seller Hub. Free (“There’s no charge to use Seller Hub”), with listings, orders, performance data and bulk actions in one dashboard. Some marketing tools need an eBay Store subscription. It does not sync stock with other channels, which is its limit.

Inventory systems for brands and multichannel sellers

Tool eBay connection Starting price (published) Best for
Sellbrite Native channel Free up to 30 orders a month; Pro 100 at $29/month billed annually Small brands on eBay, Amazon, Etsy and Shopify
Veeqo Native, Amazon-owned Shipping free; Inventory plan $19/month Sellers who want inventory sync plus discounted shipping labels
Zoho Inventory eBay integration Free up to 50 orders; Standard $29/month billed annually Businesses already using Zoho apps
Linnworks Two-way eBay integration Quote, priced on order volume Growing multichannel brands
Rithum (formerly ChannelAdvisor) One of 600+ marketplaces Quote Enterprise sellers
Listing Mirror Marketplace integration Bronze $149/month for 500 orders Mid-size sellers on many marketplaces
inFlow Inventory Through Extensiv Integration Manager (separate paid account) Lite $99/month billed annually Warehouse-heavy businesses
SixBit Built for eBay, desktop software Home & Hobby $29.99/month Long-time eBay sellers who want desktop control

My take on the shortlist. For a small brand on two or three channels, I’d start with Sellbrite’s free tier or Veeqo, because both are inexpensive and native to eBay. Zoho makes sense if your accounting already lives there. Linnworks and Rithum are for when order volume, warehouses and channels multiply; don’t buy enterprise software for a 200-order month.

One caution on inFlow: eBay connects only through a third-party integration with its own subscription, so budget for both.

Crosslisting tools for resellers

Tool What it does Starting price
Vendoo Crosslists to eBay, Poshmark, Mercari and others, with sale detection and auto-delisting $14.99/month billed monthly ($12.49 yearly)
List Perfectly Crosslists across many marketplaces including eBay Simple plan $29/month

These solve a reseller’s real problem: a vintage jacket listed on four sites must disappear from the other three the moment it sells. Auto-delisting is the feature to check first. In my view it matters more than any listing template.

How to choose, by situation

You are… Start with
eBay only, any size eBay Seller Hub
Reseller of one-off items on several sites Vendoo or List Perfectly
Small brand on eBay plus Amazon or Shopify Sellbrite (free tier) or Veeqo
Already on Zoho apps Zoho Inventory
Fast-growing brand, several warehouses Linnworks
Enterprise catalog across many marketplaces Rithum

What to check before you subscribe

  • Which plan includes eBay. Some vendors gate integrations by plan; Zoho’s pages, for example, do not say which tiers include eBay.
  • How fast stock syncs. Ask for the sync interval. Minutes matter on fast sellers.
  • Order-based pricing. Free tiers end at a set order count. Work out your cost at next year’s volume, not this month’s.
  • Amazon support, if you sell there too. If Amazon is part of the plan, our review of the best Amazon inventory management software covers the Amazon side.
  • A real trial. Connect your eBay account, sync a few SKUs and run a test order before migrating everything.

Honestly, most sellers overbuy here. Start with the cheapest tool that stops overselling, and upgrade when it breaks. Once stock is synced, track your eBay sales conversion rate listing by listing.

FAQ

What is the best inventory management software for eBay?

For eBay-only sellers, the free Seller Hub. For multichannel brands, Sellbrite or Veeqo at the small end and Linnworks or Rithum at scale. For resellers crosslisting one-off items, Vendoo or List Perfectly.

Does eBay have free inventory management?

Yes. Seller Hub is free and handles listings, orders and bulk edits on eBay. It does not sync stock with other marketplaces.

How do I sync eBay and Amazon inventory?

Use a multichannel inventory tool that connects to both, such as Sellbrite, Veeqo, Linnworks or Zoho Inventory. It updates stock on every channel when an order comes in.

What is a crosslisting tool?

Software that copies a listing to several marketplaces and removes it everywhere when it sells. It suits resellers of single items rather than brands with repeat stock.

Is Veeqo free?

Veeqo’s shipping software is free; its Inventory plan, which adds inventory sync and multichannel listings, starts at $19 a month according to its pricing page.

Can I manage eBay inventory in a spreadsheet?

On one channel with a small catalog, yes. Once you sell the same stock on two channels, a spreadsheet cannot update fast enough to prevent overselling.
